Knits & Pearls has been open since April 1, 2010 in Arden Hills,
Minnesota, near Roseville, Shoreview, St. Paul and Minneapolis. We
offer a wide selection of yarns, knitting and crocheting needles
and notions, beads, jewelry making tools and supplies, books, and
classes on both knitting and beading/jewelry-making.
We are located in Arden Plaza at 3537 B Lexington North in Arden Hills, MN, near the south-west intersection of County Road E and Lexington.
WHO ARE WE?
Knits & Pearls is a local Twin Cities, MN yarn and bead
store. You may remember us by our old name, BeYaGi, which
was located on Little Canada Road from 2006 until March 2010. It's
owned by a talented and avid knitter, Adrianne, and staffed
by similarly talented knitters and beaders. We have a large selection
of yarn and knitting notions, beads and findings
Adrianne Besides serving as the fearless and friendly owner of Knits & Pearls, Adrianne is also a knitting expert and shares her abundant knowledge as one of our instructors.
Jan Is one of helpful people we have available to assist you when you're in the store. She is a knitter who is happy to answer questions, particularly about Faire Isle (two-color) knitting. She is also a retired teacher and still teaches piano in her spare time.
Julie Julie is our beading and jewelry-making instructor. Julie
has been working as a professional artist since 2004,
focusing on hot and cold metalwork and lampwork bead-making;
some of which are on sale in the store! She has been teaching
jewelry-related techniques since 2005.
Juliane Juliane is one of our skilled knitting instructors. A true Scandinavian, she is skilled in the Continental style of knitting.
LuAnne Luanne is also one of our amazing knitting instructors.
Nancy Just when you thought we didn't have enough talented knitting instructors, we introduce Nancy!
Sally If you've seen some of our pretty scarf yarn samples hanging around the store, chances are they were made by our talented Sally! If you need help or have questions, Sally's always happy to be of service!
